Vintage Picnic | Summer Mini Session

Earlier this summer, I was dying to get a mini session weekend put together. I had an idea in my head that I knew I wanted it to look like, but I just couldn’t figure out HOW to make it happen. One day, I stumbled upon the most amazing thrifter and immediately knew that a collaboration had to happen. Her entire Instagram feed was vintage, perfect, boho, filled with wicker, and absolutely screamed picnic. I knew that Vintage Treasure Basket, here in Lubbock, was exactly what I needed for my mini sessions and the picnic came to life.

Eliza, the creator of Vintage Treasure Basket, is a super talented thrifter with a fabulous eye for all things wicker and amazing. I told her all about the picnic that I was aiming for and in a matter of just a couple weeks, we had a vintage picnic set for a perfect mini session. If you ever find yourself needing a vintage touch to your home, be sure to check out Eliza’s page @vintagetreasurebasket!

I am so excited to be sharing all of these wonderfully happy and sunny picnic photos with you. I bet you didn’t know that pillow fights, baby reveals, sun dancing, and acorn hunting didn’t happen while on picnics! Scroll all the way through to see what I’m talking about!

Enjoy a little sunshine. ☀️

Lindsay | Spring Creek Bridals

Lindsay came to me about a month before her wedding looking to take bridals before getting married in Kansas. I was so excited to get meet up with her at Spring Creek outside of San Angelo, Texas. My creativity started flowing as we barely started discussing the location of Spring Creek. I began imaging the lovely creek in the background, sunset with watery reflection bliss, little did I know Lindsay not only wanted Spring Creek in the photos, she wanted IN Spring Creek! Wedding dress and all!

It was an absolute joy getting to capture photos for this sweet bride. Her gentle grace as well as her kind and creative spirit were so apparent in such a short time. I cannot wait for you to get to see her STUNNING gallery!

Abby | ASES | 2020 Senior

Abby S | 2020 Grad

I can’t help but feel for the graduating class of 2020. This has been one of my favorite classes to shoot thus far. The year has gone so quickly! Definitely loved Abby’s vision for each of her different locations - I mean check out that @Whataburger! That bag she’s holding, yes, it does have fries in it! We had a great time sitting down and taking some super fun “fancy ketchup” photos.

Check out the full gallery and hug a 2020 grad!

Blessings,
