Hello!

My name is Katy Baker and I am a freelance photographer in Lubbock, Texas with a love for all things artistic. From painting to photos, I love everything in between! 

I graduated from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. All while studying for my BSN, I was simultaneously taking classes for a minor in visual arts! 

This is when I originally started my journey in photography and have been passionate about using a creative eye to capture moments that belong to stand still ever since!

Ephesians 5:9 says "for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true." That is what I love and hope to capture in every photograph I take. With a world that begs us to move faster and faster, God calls us to take a moment to slow down and thank Him for everything that is good and right and true around us.  

What better way to slow down in thanks than to stop and take a picture that you can cherish forever.
